Dato’ Ooi Ghee Shen is a visionary entrepreneur with expertise in economics, law, finance, and programme management. His multidisciplinary background shapes his forward-thinking approach to business and leadership.
Beginning his career in law in 1997, Dato’ Ooi soon ventured into property investment and later into development in 2006. His early success in heritage building investments in Penang—before its UNESCO World Heritage recognition—reflected his strong foresight and value-driven strategy.
As Managing Director of Enlight Group, Dato’ Ooi leads with a philosophy grounded in innovation, sustainability, and collaboration. He believes in forming strategic alliances to create developments that combine design excellence with long-term value.
